All our Doors are made of sustainable engineered Hardwood: Meranti or Sapele, which offers approximately 700 KG/Cubic meter of density. This type of timber is the best material used for any external doors in the UK and its climate. Timber will react in the first 12 months, after being installed, to excessive moisture or dry spells, therefore we invest in a better-quality material to ensure that movement is minimal.
For Sliding door we will either suggest Meranti or Sapele timber if the door to be spray painted or solid OAK if the doors to have visible wood grain detail.
